We, at Inclusive Compass, recognize the following statements as true and absolute fact. These principles serve as the true north for our philosophy in practice.

First, each individual child possesses a rich intrinsic value. We delight in creating a collective that celebrates this fact by having meaningful - and fun - interactions that will inherently foster lifelong confidence. Through individualized and holistic programming, we help guide each child on their journey to discovering their own significance.

Second, true community is built through understanding. We pride ourselves on maintaining a welcoming environment where diversity is revered. We encourage full participation from all of our members by dedicating space for natural (and structured) programming that honors individual family cultures, language, and the positive expression of pride. With the acknowledgment that culture encompasses multiple aspects of one's being, we celebrate the intersectional complexities of each individual's identity.

Thirdly, to achieve equity we travel to new and creative lengths to ensure there are opportunities for high quality programming available and accessible for all members to participate fully. Children are as diverse in their behaviors and abilities as they are in outward appearance. All components of our community will be rooted in meeting the learning and support needs across a multitude of behavioral spectrums. This will enhance how everyone experiences wellness. Through promoting awareness and acceptance of diversity, we foster an understanding of disadvantage, social injustice and marginalization.

Compassion is the antidote to separatism. We promote this ideal via meaningful programming that focuses on social emotional intelligence. By understanding ourselves, we are better prepared to understand and accept other members of our community. We strive to inspire all of our members to encompass an attitude of social justice and activism. Communities flourish best when there is an expectation of kindness and cooperation.
